Plan for today:

1. Fill out self-evaluation and evaluate work of group members. Be honest, and feel free to make comments in the margins. Turn in to Higgins
2. Take 5 minutes with your group to organize, look through rubric, figure out plan, etc.
3. Fill this out again with your group info and the final URL of your project.
3. Present to other groups

Thursday--practice presentation with class members
Friday--PRESENTATION with teachers/administrator

Look through this document regarding your presentation
Fill out this form regarding your group members

Monday:
  • Have you brainstormed solutions with your group?
  • Have you decided who is doing what?
  • Work on finding links, embedding videos, writing responses.
  • Make sure you are working!

Classmates will make comments, feedback, thoughts
Print your analysis and give to me

EACH PERSON will do:

  • Yellow post-it for "I wonder if..." things you want them to think about, or constructive thoughts to improve their presentation
  • Pink post-it for positives, what you like about their idea, good thoughts :)

Thursday, 3.5--Writing Prompt today

Directions:

1. Only 30 minutes from start to finish.
2. Use your own paper.
3. Use the writing prompt paper to take 3-4 minutes to annotate the prompt, write a scratch outline, and get your thoughts together.
3. DO NOT write your name on your paper--put your number at the top of the paper. I'll write your number down.

Reminders:
1. It doesn't matter what side you take
2. You don't have to follow the 5 paragraph essay format
3. You MUST have a solid claim (thesis) where you state your opinion clearly
4. Use examples, reasons, stories, etc. to back up your points

Tomorrow--we'll grade these!
