Begin Persuasion Unit!

Today we will begin the persuasion unit. First, you need to take the pretest. Don't freak out if you don't know...take your best educated guess. Work by yourself, please.

Final work day on paper!

Today is the final work day on the paper! Use this checklist to help make sure everything is there.

Reminder...final paper due end of the day on Wednesday...turned in on Google Classroom. Link is there. You WILL NOT have class time on Tuesday and Wednesday to work on paper.

You MUST do turnitin.com by end of the day on Wednesday as well. Directions are on my blog from the first day of school if you are having trouble.

Start working on rough draft!

Rough draft is due on THURSDAY. If you turned in outline/thesis yesterday, I checked it last night. If you didn't, working on outline is up to you. It will help you get organized, but rough draft is still due THURSDAY.

You will turn in a HARD copy on Thursday to peer edit. Print TWO copies.

Final paper is due end of the day on MONDAY.  As I've said before, you MUST work on this outside of class.

Monday, 10/20: Outline and thesis

Today I'm at the DECA Conference at Lake of the Ozarks. Continue to work on your outline and thesis, and get it turned in today through Google Classroom. I will check them tonight.

If you are finished with thesis and outline, then start writing the rough draft!

We have finished the play! If you have missed a day or two, please read what you missed so you are caught up.

Today: review day for Act III and IV!

Your packet should be COMPLETE and READY TO TURN IN by tomorrow

• Act III and IV study questions
• Add details on page 8 of character chart
• Add details on page 10, new character chart
• SHOW ME WHEN FINISHED WITH THESE THINGS AND I'LL SIGN OFF ON THEM

Finish reading any of the play if you have been absent--no excuse for not being prepared.

 Review vocab words. I didn't do a Quizlet this time.  PLEASE REVIEW THESE WORDS FOR THE QUIZ. 

Be ready for Act III and IV quiz on Thursday-vocab words, know about characters, know about plot, know about important quotes.
